About the program
STARS and Luminous are Marriott’s two invitation-only programs for selected travel agencies. STARS covers every hotel of Marriott’s luxury brands — The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, St. Regis, EDITION, The Luxury Collection and Bvlgari. Luminous covers participating W Hotels, JW Marriott, Westin, Autograph Collection, Le Méridien and other premium hotels; each Luminous hotel decides whether to take part.
Bookings count as qualifying stays: you earn Marriott Bonvoy points and elite night credits, and your status benefits still apply (Bvlgari is outside Bonvoy). The benefits come with the flexible rate, not with member, prepaid or award rates.
